I’ve been working with clay for over 40 years. I’ve taught workshops, participated in exhibitions, and throughout this time I’ve been researching and learning new techniques—alongside my wife, who’s an art teacher and shares this artistic passion with me.

Many sculptors work with gray materials and paint over them, but my technique is different—I go straight to color using the clay itself. I don’t rely much on paint because painted colors can look completely different indoors versus outside under sunlight.
Developing this technique has made me more meticulous with special effects and finishing details, and I want to share all of that with you.
